Our hunters just experienced our best opening ever. Lots of bucks were seen and they managed to take quite a few in velvet. Out of the first 19 taken, 14 went to taxidermist. We had 5 new hunters in camp, and they each took their first bucks, and 4 were kids from ages 6 through 11. And of course we had seveal misses of the big ones, almost 10. The velvet is shedding now from the mature deer, but they will stay in their bachelor groups for two to three more weeks.

We welcome you to come in Sept andtake advantage of our discounted rate of $1095.00 for three full days of deer hunting. Our hunters have seen and taken quite a few hogs already, and they are still very plentiful. We only charge extra for the hogs, if you get shots at them.

Hog only hunts, 3 full days of hunting, $795.00, 2 hogs per day, meals and lodging

October and November deer hunts $395.00 per day, 2 bucks per day, meals and lodging, without meals $995.00 for three full days.

Canadian plans now available at PVHCs ridge facility

With the acquisition of the former Cinnamon Ridge Hunt Club facility adjacent to the original PVHC camp, two years ago now, it has become a very popular addition to our offerings of options for your hunting needs. Our guests can save almost $200 bucks on a three day hunt by utilizing the excellent accommodations and setting up a "do it yourself" opportunity.

Economy Hunting Plan

One doe, Two bucks, Two Hogs ( 1 boar 1 sow)

50% deposit to reserve

Hunt the premium PVHC game lands at a fraction of the regular rate. During the Fall 2010 deer season we about 50 hunters took this option and most will be returning this season. Guests will take care of their own cooking and cleaning and game care so as to allow us to cut the houskeeping expense from your overall hunting cost. This is an excellent opportunity to save a few dollars towards that heavy gas bill at the pump and get out on a first class South Carolina Low Country Hunt.

Individuals and groups are welcome and easilly accommodated in these facilities indoors and out. All facilities are handicap accessible.

Services Provided on Economy Hunting Plans:

Lodging 12 bedrooms ( 3-4 hunters can bunk comfortably in each room ) 8 Bathrooms Private cabins can be reserved for an additional fee. Bed Linens are provided, guest provide their own bath items (towels, soaps, ect)

Kitchen ( staples provided including cookware, tableware, stoves, outside grills, refridgerators ect ) Guests are responsible for typical cleaning duties a kitchen requires.

Game Cleaning Storage Game hanging and cleaning station, freezer.

Pistol & Rifle range 25, 50, 100 yards

Archery range 3/d and standard practice targets

Fishing Stocked catch and release fishing pond on site

Dog kennel

Guide Services The PVHC guide staff will transport guests to and from our usual PVHC hunting grounds and assist our hunters in game recovery and other hunting related duties in the field. Camp game care and handling is the responsibility of our guests on these reduced rate hunts. Game handling/cleaning can be arranged $45 each to skin and quarter hogs and deer. Cold storage is included or you can ice your game down in your own coolers.
