Bang and Tommy

A big ole wild turkey welcome and thank you from someone who has experienced hunting in every state in the United States and well beyond the borders of our great nation. You have it all...but more importantly, you understand what it takes to run a successful business and hunting operation, always withthe hunter in mind. I appreciate your kindness, wonderful hospitality, and your untiring efforts to put me in the right place.

The trophy experience of the hunter is more important than the trophy, and your team has worked hard to provide that experience to every client/hunter regardless of age, sex, ability, or skill level. No doubt you aim to please and work hard at it.

All of us that have hunted any length of time know that weather, moon phase, or acts of God can limit the amount of game we wee an take., We know full well that hunting in the best of places is no guarantee of a shot...but then that is hunting. you do about everything in your power so the hunter has that opportunity.

I have totally enjoyed my experiences with you both as well as your guides and guests. The food, fun, the fellowship would be hard to beat anywhere. i look forward to joining you at Paradise Valley again, real soon. "thanks for answering the call"!

Best personal regards

Rob Keck

Craig King with his self guided longbeard taken in the spring of 09Many thanks for a great time this past week at Paradise Valley Hunt Club. You and your staff are true professionals and genuinely nice people. I felt so comfortable that by the end of the second day it was as if it were my 10th visit, not my first. Your facilities are first rate and well suited for a wide variety of hunters and their families, it certainly was for me. It was truly my pleasure to have spent time with you and your staff, you are obviously a blessed man. I enjoyed each hunt from the unguided to the semi-guided, but I especially enjoyed our shared hunt. The turkeys humbled us that day, but that’s why it is call turkey hunting and not turkey killing. The important thing is that I learned from you and John Coit some very important lessons, one being, do not be afraid to call to a turkey! We will keep that story to ourselves. Each day I had experiences that will keep me smiling for a good long time.

Thanks again for everything,

Craig King

Bang, thanks. When I came to you and told you I wanted to make my first Turkey Hunt a complete learning experience you responded with a firm “I know what you want and we can do it”.

Boy did you “do it” and then some.

After my time at Paradise Valley Hunting Club (PVHC), I can sit with experienced turkey hunters and carry my own in the conversation. Don’t get me wrong, as you have said, a turkey hunter will learn something in each hunt.

You say we lucked out with a hunt of a life time, I say you and John Coit orchestrated the hunt so that I had to use lessons learned in the previous days. Plus it was all on film. If asked, and some that I tell without being asked, your first-timers hunt is without a doubt the way to go. Whether it is for oneself or a family member that wants to bag their first turkey or to get in to turkey hunting on the right foot they will not be disappointed at PVHC.

With regards to your camp, what can I say? You have created a home away from home for all hunters, whatever the age. You advertise you cater to families and boy did you demonstrate that to me. The food, the home feeling, that special attention one gets from you, your staff and guides is special. It amazed me how you made me feel like a special guest, all the while, I was a part of the group, a member of your group. I found myself going around turn off light switches as if as I owned the place. You can bet I will be bringing my grandsons/granddaughter there for their first hunt.

Bang, Tom, John Coit, and Dusty Springs; thank you for leading me into a new sport that seems as though it can consume you with challenge and fun. Thanks.

First i want to thank you for another great hunt. Last season was great this season was even better. Second i will tell you that in my 40+ years of hunting lodges like yours in al, me, tx, ny, pa, ga, fl, sc, ma, nh, vt, sc and alberta canada, this is only the second thank you letter I have written to any lodge. You treat single hunters just as good as groups.

The hunter bull sessions we have on your front porch overlooking the pond are allways looked forward to, as well as trying to catch one of those bass or 15lb+catfish, my ribs still hurt from laughing at the jokes told around the card table. Your recreation hall is the best I have seen in any lodge, that I have been at. I can't wait till next deer season to pick up my 10 point buck mount so i am going to schedule a turkey hunt with you this spring. Tell that contractor that I beat playing pool that i'll give him a chance on your ping pong table, ha-ha.
Thank's Again, John Lench

Many of you will recognize Toni and Terry, their low country hunting experiences became so enjoyable they now live in Ehrhardt and operate the local pizza restaurant
Dear Bang and Tom,
Thank you very much for successful hunt in November. The effort you both make to put us on deer and make us feel comfortable was outstanding. We are looking forward to next season, hopefully for a few trips. I just received my mount, it looks great. See you soon.

Steve Young organizes several hunting trips each year for the Seminole Indian Tribe's youth recreation programHey Bang,
I wanted to thank you and Tom for all the great hunts the boys had with you, they all want to know when we are going back and who gets to go first. I've hunted with several different out-fitters and I can say truthfully that no one WORKS HARDER then yourself and Tom. From all the stands that you have, so you don't have to hunt the same stand all the time and all of the corn and food plots at each stand.

I thank you both for all the help with the boys I know if it wasn't for both of you these boys wouldn't have all gotten there first deer and more. And they like seeing there pictures on your web sight they have there all there friends check it out.

I will be in-touch with you about hunting dates for 2005 I have more kids wanting to come up and hunt. Hope Tom's ready to sit with some wild kids.

Thank You
Seminole Recreation, Steve Young

Andy Ligia and Ronnie have become regulars at PVHC and the dearest of friends. They remind us of the finer moments of running this hunting campThanks for the great hunts in 2007!
Ligia and I enjoyed getting to know you, Barbara and Tom during my spring gobbler hunt.  I appreciate all your efforts in getting me close to a bird, and I promise to hold steady and hit the turkey next time.
We returned in October and again in December.  Everyone at Bang's Paradise Valley worked hard to make my deer season a success, and it rates among my best hunting experiences even though I took no game.  I had my chances (passed up several does; missed a big buck), but true sportsmen understand that some things are more important than trophies on the wall.
I especially enjoyed the opportunity to sit in the blind with my nephew when he took his first deer.  True to the family atmosphere at Bang's Paradise Valley, everyone shared in my pride and Jason's excitement about joining the hunters' ranks.  Ligia has accompanied me as a nonhunter to many lodges and she was impressed by the number of father/son groups we met at your place.  She also admires the way you make everybody feel welcome.
As a disabled hunter, I realize how much effort it took you to get me in and out of the blinds.  Your encouragement, positive attitude and willingness to do anything necessary to ensure my safety and comfort in the woods mean very much to me.
Looking forward to hunting with you again.

First off, I want to say thank you for the great hunts I have had and, most of all, the great memories.  I am originally from Maine and now have been in North Carolina for 13 years.  Hunting Maine since I was 10 years old, I was used to sometimes not seeing a deer for a whole week hunt and sometimes two.  Well, let me "Tell" you, at PVHC, I have had the hunting experiences that I never thought possible.  I have been hunting with Bang's PVHC (4) times in 2 years and have seen well over 100 deer.  Until PVHC, I had not seen over 100 deer in my life.
Let me say Bang and Tommy care about the hunters.  From accommodations, stands, and hospitality, I am very impressed.  They run a quality and family hunt club.  I will most certainly bring my son here for his first hunt because I know he will remember it forever.
In closing, I would like to say for anyone looking for a quality hunting club, with plenty, and I mean plenty of deer, you need to book a hunt with Bang's Paradise Valley Hunting Club.
Sincerely,Shawn Merrill ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

Bang and Tom,
We want to thank you for providing a hunting experience for our family that we will talk
about, and share with others for a long time.  It is so refreshing to know that there
is a place hunters can go and take family, have a great fellowship with other
hunters, be in a very comfortable lodge where there are pool tables, ping-pong, cards
and T.V. for entertainment, and the best southern food served this side of the
Mason-Dixon.  Not to mention land with abundant game and wild life.
Your hospitality, along with the experience and knowledge you bring to your
club sets you apart from all other organizations in your field.
Again, we thank you for such a great experience, and be assured, Bang's
Paradise Vallen Hunting Club is truly a "Paradise" we look forward to
participating in the future.
Your friends,
Rich and Dee Campbell and Trey

Bang and Tom,

Jason and I want to thank you again for all the effort you put into making our trip to hunt with you a trip that we will remember for a lifetime.  From the minute we arrived, and I know you were busy with the group departing, you took the time to make us feel welcome and right at home.

Your taking the extra time and effort to take Jason out one more time on the morning of our departure was above and beyond and is so much appreciated by both of us.  Tom, I know that you were trying to put Jason onto a hog, but when you came back with that buck, I can't explain how proud I was.

I can't also say enough about Chris as well.  Although I try not to show it, I do have a bit of a time getting up and down from stands, I do it, but it is not always fast or elegant.  Chris took the time to make sure that I got up and down without any problems and he was always so polite about everything.  I still have to apologize about having to ask him to go down and find the large buck that I shot.  I know that is what you do, but it was not the best weather at the time.  His extra effort to help me meant a lot more that he will ever know.

The saddest part was having to leave and say goodbye to you and the other hunters we had met on the trip.  Everyone was absolutely great to be around.  You were right about having something to talk about the first half of the trip and we did!  The thing that you did not say was how we spent the rest of the trip...talking over our schedules trying to figure out when we can make another trip!  We do want to come back.  We know that there are no guarantees with hunting and our luck was really good, but you worked so hard to make everything as good as it could possibly be and more importantly, you made us feel welcome and that is really something in this day.

We checked your website and really appreciate the pictures.  We hope to make more trips your way.  And yes, we are definitely telling everyone who we know and hunt with here about your place and our experience.

Thanks Again,
Mike and Jason Lamkin
